It’s been a hectic few months in Honey Moons land, it’s not easy being a top Scottish wedding band, and nor should it be but the hard work is always fun work they tell me. The first three months of the year have flown in and has seen the band hone the act to the point where they can now do a full wedding as the four piece but you really need the 5 with the sax and even better the 6 piece with sax and fiddle to make the evening go with a bang!
The guys have played all over the country in the last few weeks, including two of the finest wedding venues in Scotland; House for an Art Lover in Glasgow and the gloriously named Byre at Inchyra in Perthshire (above). The guys have been adding to the repertoire too and have recently learned some new songs for 1st dance, which they enjoy a lot. Some re end high points were Van Morrison’s In To The Mystic and a song from the Jungle Book. Naturally
The band are pretty busy this summer and are starting to pick up bookings for 2017 and will be aiming to have a showcase event later in the year, please get in touch with Chris in the Freak Music office to be put on the mailing list for that.
