Aaaah, the summer months as a UK wedding band, the early starts, the late finishes, the motorway cafés, the snoring bandmates and the occasional glorious endorsement of a world renowned musician. At a recent wedding on a family farm up in Durris, Aberdeenshire, the Honey Moons noticed a rather exuberant reveller dancing in the dark down the front and during their break he introduced himself as Jake Clemons, nephew of the late, great Clarence Clemons and the current sax player player for a certain Bruce Springsteen. Bloody hell.
Predictably as nice as New Jersey apple pie, he chatted with us for ages and couldn’t be more complimentary and he even helped us load the van at the end of the night. What a guy!
The venue itself as mentioned was on a family farm and the setting was superb too, gotta love a tipi wedding. Many thanks to Christina and Kevin for having us along to share their special day.
